This brown screen print is water-based ink, therefore plastic-free. Water-based screen printing is widely considered the most sustainable and eco-friendly type of screen printing because it uses water (rather than plastic) as the primary carrier, eliminating harmful chemicals found in traditional plastisol inks, making it significantly less impactful on the environment; water-based inks are also biodegradable and produce fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during the printing process. 
*This also means that on occasion there are small imperfections with the screen print on the garment, but we believe that it just makes each sweatshirt unique and adds a bit of charm.*
